Kloudless, the Universal API company, today introduced their Universal CRM API. The new product offering enables software developers to build apps that embed integrations to many customer relationship management services. Supported integrations at launch include Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Oracle Sales Cloud. The Universal CRM API is part of a broader product strategy to provide Universal APIs for key business application verticals including call center software.

Today, developers who want to embed integrations with CRM services must build with native APIs that differ in documentation, level of functionality, feature implementation, event tracking, and object data formatting. APIs are also subject to change, so additional maintenance work can be time consuming and costly in the long run. Kloudless addresses these challenges by providing a unified API for CRM services that not only accelerates time-to-completion of the initial integration project, but also decreases the investment in long-run maintenance.
Kloudless's Universal CRM API capabilities include:
- One-to-many integration: Code once to integrate Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Oracle Sales Cloud. Future support includes SugarCRM,NetSuite, HubSpot, SAP CRM, Zoho CRM, and Pipedrive.
- Operations on all CRM content: Uniform object data is returned for accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, campaigns, and tasks. In addition, all standard and custom objects can be retrieved in the original data format. Perform a series of API requests through a single batch request for all CRM content.
- Real-time and historical events: Receive notifications and retrieve events for new, modified, and deleted objects. Organization-wide events are available for user/group modifications, collaboration events, and more.
The Universal CRM API is generally available in the SaaS offering at the Kloudless website as well as the self-hosted, on-premises Kloudless Enterprise. Developers can use the Universal CRM API for free or upgrade to premium plans based on their business needs.
